Website Policies  - Delivery, Payment, Return & Privacy

Payment: Our payment processor is PayPal. You may use either your PayPal account or most major credit cards to make your purchase. Payment is required at the time your order is placed, for your order to be processed. Wire transfers are accepted for bulk purchases (100+).

Please Note: "We no longer accept Canadian billing addresses. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Delivery: We do everything possible to ship in-stock products, same day, or within 1 to 3 business days (excluding holidays). All orders are sent from the Montreal, Quebec, Canada fulfillment center, to American destinations via Canada Post Small Packets Air, Expedited US Business or Xpresspost USA services, per your selection, at time of ordering. All orders are insured in case of damage or loss. Insurance and handling charges are included in the cost of shipping. Please provide an address where the order may be delivered reliably during business hours, such as your office or home. Canada Post and/or United States Postal Service will not reroute the package once it has been shipped. Specific delivery instructions (e.g. "please leave inside back door", etc.), are of no use and will be ignored, as we have no way of conveying that information to your local mail carrier and more importantly, Canada Post and/or United States Postal Service will only deliver to P.O. Boxes, street mail boxes, residential and business mail boxes & mail slots. Additional shipping charges will apply to orders that are re-shipped due to incorrect shipping addresses, failure to provide a shipping address deemed "deliverable" by Canada Post and/or United States Postal Service, failure to respond to a Canada Post and/or United States Postal Service notice of delivery within the specified time, failure to receive the package due to recipient's absence from address for delivery, and other extenuating circumstances.

Generally speaking, within major American centers, Canada Post Small Packets Air service takes approximately three business weeks, Canada Post Expedited US Business service takes approximately two business weeks, and Canada Post Xpresspost USA takes approximately one business week. American destination delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed due to the handling of American destination orders by United States Customs and the United States Postal Service, as well as, weather delays, labor disruptions, equipment failure, acts of God and other reasons. For more precise delivery times, please consult the Canada Post website at www.canadapost.ca. Delivery times may take longer to regions Canada Post and United States Postal Service consider remote. All deliveries are subject to weather holds so extreme temperatures do not damage your products. If we know of a delivery delay, we will do our best to contact you in a timely manner. US customers are responsible for any applicable customs charges - please check with your local customs office and/or broker.

Return Policy: Every product we sell is backed by our guarantee*. If for any reason a product from this store does not meet your expectation, send it back to us within 30 days of delivery, in an unused and undamaged condition, via Insured Mail, along with proof of purchase, and we will exchange* or refund* the purchase price plus applicable taxes*. Please indicate your preference for an exchange or refund. Unless we made an error in order processing or shipping, all shipping and handling charges for both the original shipment, as well as, the return shipment are not refundable*. We are not responsible for incorrect orders made due to a customers misunderstanding, uncertainty, or confusion regarding information on our website*. In such cases, it is the customers' responsibility to call and/or email us for clarification on which product (if any) we sell is suitable for their needs*. Customers making incorrect purchases will be subject to return shipping conditions listed above*. For your convenience in cases where we have to pay postage due for underpaid return shipping charges, this balance will be automatically deducted from your refund amount. Most exchanges and returns are processed within 7 to 10 days of receipt.

Important! Please Note:

*You must have a Return Authorisation Number (RAN), before you can return any product purchased from the DHDTV Specialty Hardware Store. This IMPORTANT & COMPULSARY NUMBER identifies your product to our warehouse receiving staff. Without this number, it may be impossible to know whether we have received your return and your refund may not be approved and issued. To obtain your Return Authorisation Number (RAN) please click here to email our customer service and request your Return Authorisation Number.

* In some cases, items are not returnable. We reserve the right to verify return product information before issuing a return credit. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur, during shipment, to the items that you are returning. Unless we made an error in order processing or shipping, return-shipping fees will apply. For your convenience in cases where we have to pay postage due for underpaid return shipping charges, this balance will be automatically deducted from your refund amount. Most exchanges and returns are processed within 7 to 10 days of receipt.

Damaged: In the unlikely event that a product arrives to you damaged, please click here to email our customer service department and we will assist you to make suitable arrangements, to return the product. In the event that an order shipped by the delivery service that you chose is lost en route, we may be required to wait for the claim to be processed which can take up to 60 days.

Privacy Policy: All information collected by INSULATEDDRAFTDODGERMAILSLOT.COM, DHDTVSPECIALTYHARDWARESTORE and DHDTV.NET, is kept confidential and is for internal use only. We do not provide our mailing list to any outside organization!!! We take all the necessary security measures to protect your personal information. Only our processor, PayPal, will ask for your financial information on the appropriate online PayPal shopping cart web page.
